Ruipeng Wang, a new media artist and technical artist,
will join the MIT Media Lab in September 2025 and graduated from the Fiction and Entertainment program at SCI-Arc in 2024.

With a background in painting, architecture, digital fabrication, and interactive art, he aims to utilize technology to reveal and express issues overlooked by mainstream technology, attempting to establish a new sense of embodiment and landscape that has distanced us from these fundamental experiences.

By connecting physical installations with digital generative entities, he created a series of works to build a rippling world where the digital and physical realms can understand and resonate.

He is also the founder of YDG (Youth Digital Group), a non-profit digital artist community, and the leader of its new media artists collaborative team, YDG Lab.
