Resonance: Meditative Neural Rhythms as Collective Spatial Experience

Resonance transforms meditation into a shared spatial experience through water, vibration, and light. Live EEG data controls vibrations in a suspended water vessel, creating ripples that cast shifting light patterns across the surrounding architecture. The installation invites audiences to experience a meditator’s internal rhythms together.

Water patterns reflect the participant’s meditation level. The brain wave, captured through EEG, is analyzed to reveal the meditation value. As this value increases, the water waves become denser. When one concentrates on the rippling surface, the water’s wave, in turn, resonates with the brain, increasing the meditation state.

EEG device real-time capture your meditation level with your brain weaves.
